 2  Structural features and working principle

2.1 Structural features

The whole set of measurement system is mainly composed of NT8000G type instrument (secondary meter) and turbidity concentration sensor (primary meter). The sensor contacts the measured aqueous solution. The meter displays the turbidity value, temperature value and working state of the aqueous solution.

2.2 Working principle

When the light wave transmitted by the infrared sensor transmitter is absorbed, reflected and scattered by the measured object during transmission, only a small part of the light can be irradiated onto the receiver, and the transmittance of the transmitted light is proportional to the concentration of the measured solution. The transmittance of the transmitted light was measured to calculate the turbidity value.

2.3 Applications

It is widely used in waterworks, power plants, sewage treatment plants, pharmaceutical plants, hospitals to accurately measure the concentration of various water samples.

4 Functional characteristics

5 Installation and electrical connection

The instrument should be installed indoors or in a position with protective devices, and no flammable or explosive materials should be placed around it. The installation position of the instrument should be selected so that the user and the installation and maintenance personnel can read the nameplate and screen information of the instrument, which is convenient for use, maintenance and overhaul.

 

All power and plumbing connections must comply with national and local standards. The front end of the instrument power supply must be equipped with an insulation switch or a circuit disconnect switch.

For safety and to avoid interference from external signals to the instrument, the instrument power cord should be connected to the corresponding specification, the grounding mark, the electrical standard-compliant socket, and the ground wire must be well grounded.

5.1 Instrument installation

The meter can be embedded or wall mounted,Disk mounting hole is shown in Figure 1.,the opening size is 138×138mm。Insert the meter into the square hole and fix it with the configured bracket. The wall mount can be mounted according to the configured wall mount fitting or according to the size of the figure.

5.2 Sensor installation precautions

    Install the sensor in the right position to ensure a representative measurement. Install the sensor in an easy-to-access location for easy periodic cleaning and maintenance of the sensor. Avoid installing the sensor in a location where bubbles are concentrated to prevent interference signals. Install the sensor near a representative, good sampling point.
