 Ultrasonic has strong directivity, slow energy consumption, and travels a long distance in the medium. Aim at the target to be measured, a point will appear on the display screen of the rangefinder, which is mainly measured by the speed of sound, and the projected line is invisible to the naked eye.


     The principle of ultrasonic ranging is to use the propagation speed of ultrasonic waves in the air to be known, measure the time when the sound wave encounters obstacles and reflect back after being transmitted, and calculate the actual distance from the transmitting point to the obstacle based on the time difference between transmitting and receiving.

    Ultrasonic waves propagate at different speeds in gas, liquid and solids, with good directivity and concentrated energy, low attenuation during transmission, and strong reflection ability. Ultrasonic waves can propagate directionally at a certain speed and form reflections after encountering obstacles. Using this feature, the actual distance can be calculated by measuring the time it takes for the ultrasonic wave to go back and forth, so as to achieve non-contact measurement of the object distance. In this way, the on-site measurement is quick and convenient, and is not affected by factors such as light. It is widely used in hydrological and liquid level measurement, and the location monitoring of the measurement site of the construction site.
