1. Product features, uses and scope of application

1.1 Features

   Electromagnetic flowmeter has the following characteristics:

●It is not affected by the change of fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure and electric rate. The linear measurement principle can achieve high-precision measurement;

●There are no flow blocking parts in the measuring pipe, the pressure loss is small, and the requirements for straight pipe sections are low;

●Nominal diameter DN6-DN2000 covers a wide range, and there are multiple choices of lining and electrodes, which can meet the requirements of measuring a variety of conductive fluids;

●The converter adopts programmable frequency low frequency rectangular wave excitation, which improves the stability of flow measurement and has low power loss;

●The converter adopts 16-bit embedded microprocessor, full digital processing, fast calculation speed, strong anti-interference ability, reliable measurement, high accuracy, and the flow measurement range can reach 1500:1;

●High-definition backlit LCD display, full Chinese character menu operation, easy to use, simple to operate, easy to learn and understand;

●With RS485 or RS232O digital communication signal output;

●With conductivity measurement function, it can judge whether the sensor is empty or not, with self-check and self-diagnosis functions;

●Using SMD devices and surface mount (SMT) technology, the circuit reliability is high;

●It can be used in corresponding explosion-proof occasions.

1.2 Main purpose

   Electromagnetic flowmeter can be used to measure the volume flow of conductive fluid in a closed pipeline. It is widely used in flow measurement and control in industrial and agricultural production processes such as petrochemical industry, iron and steel metallurgy, water supply and drainage, water conservancy irrigation, water treatment, environmental protection sewage measurement and control, papermaking, medicine, food and other industrial and agricultural production processes.

1.3 Environmental conditions for use

   Ambient temperature: sensor -25℃~+60℃ converter -10℃~+60℃

   Relative temperature: 5%-95%

1.4 Working conditions

   Maximum fluid temperature: Integrated type 70℃

         Separate type: PTFE lining 150℃

                    Neoprene lining 80℃

                    Polyurethane rubber lining 70℃

     Fluid conductivity: ≥5uS/cm

3. Product type and composition

3.1 Product composition

The electromagnetic flowmeter is composed of an electromagnetic flow converter and an electromagnetic flow sensor. The separate type also requires a dedicated double-shielded cable to connect the converter and the sensor.

3.2 Product type

Electromagnetic flowmeters are divided into two types: integral type and separate type. It can be used in specified explosion-proof places.

The sensor has 7 kinds of electrodes of different materials and 4 kinds of linings of different materials for selection.

4.6 Materials:

     Electrode form and material

     The electrode form and can be divided into standard type, scraper type, detachable type, with grounding electrode.

     Electrodes and ground electrode materials include molybdenum-containing stainless steel, Hastelloy B, Hastelloy C, titanium, tantalum, platinum-based alloy, and stainless steel coated with tungsten carbide.

     Flange material: carbon steel

     Grounding ring material: stainless steel

     Door protection ring material: stainless steel, carbon steel.

4.9 Connecting cable: Separate electromagnetic flowmeter, the sensor and converter are connected with a signal cable. The cable length should be less than 100mm. The company provides a 10M cable with the meter free of charge, and the insufficient part needs to be ordered.

4.10 Converter performance:

     Power supply: single-phase AC 85-265V, 45-63HZ, power less than 20W; DC power supply 11-40VD·C
